Student Tips



  1. Visit our Mind Body website to Access our current class schedule, read class descriptions, purchase class passes, and sign up for classes and workshops.
  2. Arrive 10-15 minutes early! Always check in at the front desk, even if you’ve made an online reservation. Late arrivals are only allowed 5 minutes. This is so we do not interrupt the other students.
  3. Practice on an empty stomach. Do not eat 1 1/2 – 2 hours prior to yoga practice. Juice or fruit are OK if you need quick energy before class. Drink plenty of water prior to class, (Better if you hydrate the day before!).
  4. Wear comfortable and appropriate clothing.
  5. Mats and Face towels will be provided for free.
  6. Remove your shoes before entering the studio. Leave your shoes in a cubby in the studio lobby. This preserves the sacred nature of the studio space.
  7. Turn off your cell phone. This enhances your experience and is polite to your fellow students.
  8. Notify the teacher of any injuries or medical conditions. This helps the teacher know how to assist you and give you modifications.
  9. Practice often. 4-6 times per week for maximum benefit. 2-3 times per week will show improvement for most students within three months.
